General Buller Embarking on the Dunottar Castle at Southampton

Oct. 14th, 1899, for South Africa. Shows the Castle Line docks, crowded with troops, spectators, and well-wishing friends, also the gangway leading to the ship, down which is seen approaching Sir Redvers Bullet and staff, accompanied by Mayor of Southampton, Lady Buller, and friends, who bid them a hearty farewell. Every personage portrayed in this subjects is an absolute portrait. A splendid view of the General was also secured.
