THE MODERN MARVEL COMPANY.
A change is made in the programme at Queen Street Hall this week, the Brescian Family occupying the whole of the second part of the programme, while before and after are placed series of cinematographic representations. Mr T. J. West maintains his reputation as raconteur with a flow of mellifluous and sonorous eloquence, which elicits expressions of approval from his audiences. In the second part the Brescian Family. in costume, give a very fair orchestral and vocal selection. Of the soloists, perhaps the most worthy of mention is Miss Antonia Martinengo, the soprano; but Miss Domenica, the contralto, and Miss Adelina, the violinist, acquit themselves well. A most rousing reception is always accorded to Mr Fred. Mills, humourist, who by his attitudes and facial contortions works successfully upon the risible faculties of the greater part of the audience.
