Le Zoegraph de Thomas James West (Town Hall, 5-6 avril 1897)
Le Zoegraph de Thomas James West présente des vues animées au Town Hall en avril :
Modern Marvel Company.— This company, at present on tour, gave two of their unique entertainments on Monday and Tuesday night in the Town Hall, when the audiences, though not large, were not slow to show their appreciation. The zoegraph depicted a series of marvellous animated photographs, and the illustrations by means of the " X "rays were also particularly good. Not the least interesting was Mr West's short illustrated lecture on "Dr Nansan and the Fram," attractively told, and, the programme being supplemented by views of a miscellaneous character, the interest of the audience was never allowed to flag, and they expressed themselves delighted.

L'Eventograph de M. Poole (<17> août 1898)
L'Eventograph de M. Poole présente des vues animées en août :
ST. ANDREWS.
Poole's Myriorama.—This entertainment, which is to given, daily all the current week in the Volunteer Hall, affords a pleasant way of spending evening, and the bill of fare, which comprises very fine views of all parts of the world, and a capital variety entertainment in addition, is one of the best provided for the St Andrews public for a long time. A special attraction was the eventograph or improved cinematograph, the selection of films being well chosen and highly realistic. The band discoursed music throughout the evening in first-class style.
