Mr. Oscar B. Depue, whose motion pictures, taken as Mr. Holmes' fellow-traveler, have been such a factor in the pictorial popularity of these lectures, took a large number of new motion pictures at the Grand Canyon last summer, which, added to the old favorites, will make a remarkable and realistic exposition of scenes of activity in and about the canyon. Among these will be the motion pictures of the snake dancers, the pursuit of a young girl by 200 mounted Navajos, caravans descending the steep trails of the canyon, and a number of humorous pictures of Capt. John Hance telling some of his astonishing stories.
