The new pictures were great successes, especialkly the reproduction of the Suburban handicap race, showing the finish between Henry of Navarre, the Commoner, and Clifford, which elilcited great applause. The portion of the picture showing the field was somewhat obscured by the dust raised by the racers, but the finish on the stretch, showing the judges' box and grand stand crowded with spectators was extremely realistic.
