Edison's Vitascope
will be at the opera house all this week with Saturday matinee. Prices 10, 20 and 30 cents. As a scientific novelty the Vitascope is a wonder. It is absolutely the sensation of the nineteenth century.
During this engagement the following pictures will be shown: "The Kiss," being a perfect reproduction of that long-drawn-out and evidently enjoyable osculation indulged in John C. Rice and May Irwin in John J. McNally's farce comedy, "'The Widow Jones,' "' including Rice's famous wink at the audience, admittedly one of the funniest episodes contained in any play; Cavalry Charge; the Surf Scene, Dover, Eng.; Leigh Sisters, in the Umbrella Dance; Beheading of the Queen of Scotts; Louie Fuller, in the Serpentine Dance; Watermelon Eating Contest, Tub Race on the Hudson River, The Passaic Falls, The Morning Bath, Farmyard Scene, Feeding the Doves; Charge of the Mounted Police, and many others of great interest.
