Le Pan-American Electric Carnival des frères Ireland (Victoria Hall, 13->13 septembre 1902)
Les frères Ireland présentent leur Pan-American Electric Carnival qui propose au public des vues animées :
COMING THEATRICAL EVENTS.
PAN-AMERICAN ELECTRIC CARNIVAL.
The following is taken from the Truro Daily News, Sept. 13th : "The Pan-American Electric Carnival delighted a full house at Victoria Hall last night, and the consensus of opinion is that the show is away ahead of anything seen here. The moving pictures were brighter and steadier than any yet seen here, and the subjects were all new, and covered a very wide range. The entertainment commenced with some beautiful scenes of the Pan-American Exposition, and the finale of the well known drama 'Quo Vadis.' The story of Little Red Riding Hood was told in a charming manner. There were a large number of comic scenes. Then came the subject of engrossing interest to every one, the coronation of King Edward VII in Westminster- Abbey. This was a magnificent spectacle for the human eye to feast upon, for one was practically transferred to London, to see the ceremony as it actually took place. Following this came the grand procession of state through London, showing the King and Queen in the magnificent state coach, being drawn by the eight cream colored horses."
This attraction comes to the Grand all next week, with matinee Wednesday and Saturday.
