Le Pan-American Electric Carnival des frères Ireland (Recreation Hall, 1-3 décembre 1902)
Les frères Ireland présentent leur Pan-American Electric Carnival en décembre :
A GREAT ATTRACTION COMING.
Electric Carnival in Recreation Hall.
Our readers will be glad to learn that arrangements have been made for the Pan-American Electric Carnival to visit Cornwall and give their excellent show in the Recreation Hall on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2 and 3; This Company comes here direct from the Grand Opera House in Ottawa, where they are billed for all this week and are showing to crowded houses at every performance. They have the only reproduction in the world of the Coronation of King Edward in Westminster Abbey, besides the grand processions of State passing through the Canadian arch in London after the crowning in the the Abbey, showing the Crowned King and Queen in the magnificent State coach, bowing and smiling in recognition of the tremendous ovation from the masses of people that line the streets. Besides the Coronation there will be many scenes of recent events, such as the eruption of Mount Pelee and destruction of St. Pierre, where 40,000 people lost their lives. There will also be a host of comical novelties, making the best possible combination of education, amusement and wonder. The Ottawa press is unanimous in proclaiming it the best ever seen in that city. The prices are 15, 25 and 35c., city. with a children's matinee Tuesday after school, at 10c. Reserved seats are now on sale at MacHaffie & Elvidge's drug store.

Un compte rendu est publié peu après :
G.H. Ireland's Pan-American Electric Carnival drew good audiences at the Recreation Hall the first three mights of the week and at a matinee for children on Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Ireland has made a specialty of the Coronation and the views of that magnificent ceremony are exceedingly fine. The views of the eruption of Mount Pelee were also very realistic.
