Le Waragraph des frères Ireland (14-15 novembre 19001)
En provenance de Vancouver, les frères Ireland présentent leur waragraph en novembre :
The Waragraph Pictures.
There was a large and appreciative audience last night at the city hall to see the Waragraph Pictures. Unfortunately the company's baggage was not put aboard the morning train at St. John so that they, could not get it until the arrival of the evening train, and in consequence of the rough handling some of the electrical appliances became damaged so that it required considerable time and skill on the part of the operator to control the current. When things were once put in order it was clearly to be seen that the entertainment would fullfill all promises. The pictures are clear and steady and animated to such a degree that one would almost imagine the events depicted very really enacted on the stage. A very beautiful spectacle was that of Cinderella and the Glass Slipper. The later consists of ten thousand band be colored photographs and is claimed to be the finest moving picture in the world. Of course the war scenes were the most interesting to the audience and all these views were heartily applauded. A large number of comic pictures keeps the audience in good humor, The electrician, Mr. Ireland, who operates the Waragraph, is engaged to-day in repairing the damage done to the machine by the rough handling of the baggage smashers, and everything will go off smoothly to night. The band boys hope to have another large house.
