The Dull Razor
1
The Dull Razor
The individual herein depicted is seen lathering and shaving himself, to judge by his grimaces, evidently with a dull razor. His back being to the camera, the race and "scraping" manoeuvres are plainly seen by reflection in the mirror. As most every man has had like experience, this subject is bound to create much mirth among an audience.
"Warwick Trading Company", The Era, Londres, samedi 29 septembre 1900, p. 27.
The Dull Razor
This picture shows an old gentleman seated at his shaving table. The razor is evidently giving him a great deal of trouble, as he catches hold of the brush and with a great show of impatience he hurriedly coats his face with the foaming soap and makes a second attempt at removing his beard. He scrapes and scrapes, and judging from the painful facial expressions, the razor grows duller with every stroke. The old man makes a new and ludicrous twitch of the mouth every time he draws the razor across the face. This is a 50 foot film of an ordinary scene of every day life, and its mirth provoking merits have never been surpassed.
The Dull Razor
A portly gentleman becomes disgusted with his barber and decides to shave himself. Confident that he can do it, he prepares the lather, strops his razor and goes to work. Continually cutting himself, like the proverbial bad workman, he blames it on the razor and gives up in despair. Good and comical.

The Dull Razor
You shave yourself? You do? Then you know what a dull razor can do in the hands of an awkward man. This picture is considered one of the masterpieces in laughable subjects, extremely funny for everybody but the poor fellow shaving himself. The facial contortions of this man are so funny that the lense on the taking camera itself shared the jolity and turned out a great, happy, wonderful picture. The length of this picture is 75 feet; therefore, it is a full continual laugh 75 feet long.
