For entire naturalness one of the best of the quiet pictures showed a game of backgammon between a man and a woman, which was watched by a half dozen others. One of the bystanders held a paper in his hands in which he was plainly interested, but there was no acting in his gradual surrender of the paper as he became more and more taken up with the game. |
