In this week's Vitascope exhibition at the Bijou Mr. Edison shows how far behind Philadelphia New York is. In the representation of Bowling Green, an old time horse car is shown, side by side with a cable car, and Philadelphians will wonder that in a city as progressive as New York is supposed to be and in this stage of electricity such slow transit as horse ans cable cars can be seen. |
