Vinters' Fete-"Spring"

The groups representing Spring- are particulary charming. Mme. Eroyan, the priestess, kneels at the foot of Pales the young goddess on her white throne drawn by four splendid oxen, while groups of lasses in white tunics, and crowned with roses, arc clustered around.
Youthful shepherds wearing fleeces over their brown skins, and hosts of haymakers, both girls and boys, now appear. These children sing the season of love and blossom, and offer rose garlands at the throne of the goddess, while shepherds gently guide their ribbon-bedecked sheep, and graceful "jardineers" foot their joyous dances under hoops of jonquils and tender clematis.

LA FESTA DEI VIGNAIUOLI
(celebrata a Vevey dal 4 all' 11 agosto 1905
Sfilata trionfale dei carri, delle deità e loro seguito, di carri simbolici delle quattro stagioni e di tutti i partecipanti al grande corteo. Proiezione colorata.
(N.B. La storica festa dei vignaiuoli a Vevey, ha una rinomanza universale e chiama colà per assistervi le rappresentanze di tutte le nazioni.
