Buck Dance
Taken at the Ute Indian Reservation, Ignacio, Col., and shows a number of Buck Indians of this noted tribe indulging in their favorite amusement, which is dancing to the tune of a single base drum. Their movements are grotesque in the extreme. In the foreground are shown a group of Bucks and Squaws sitting on the ground, while in the background can be seen the tepees. The figures are sharp and clear and the subject novel.
