Sunset Limited, Southern Pacific Railway

Taken at the small station of Fingal, Cal., where the world renowned "Sunset Limited" trains pass each other. One of the trains is run on a side track and the crews and passengers alight to salute the train which is approaching, and which passes at a high rate of speed. Immediately the approaching train has passed a switchman turns the switch and the train on the siding passes on to the main track and receding out of view.
