Le Cinemotographe d'Isaac Kline (Phillips Opera, 26-28 novembre 1896)

Isaac Kline présente son Cinemotographe en novembre :

WONDERFUL,
The Cinemotographe Exhibition at the Phillips --Great Crowds Looked on in Surprise and Awe.
"ENTRANCING,
Magical. Beyond Belief," -Such Were a Few of the Expressions of the Beholders- -Another Opportunity to See it Tomorrow and Tomorrow Night.
We cannot describe to you the cinemotographe exhibition at the Phillips Opera house yesterday afternoon and last night. It was beyond description. The Cinemotographe used was brought here direct from the custom house and had never been tested.
It worked fairly well notwithstanding this fact.
This is the day of the photograph. The phonograph photographs sound and reproduces it for our ears; the X-rays reveals hidden mysteries and they, too, are photographed. The Cinemotograph photographs motion and it does it accurately. This is easily said, but do you know how much it means? If you saw that mounted police drill, that runaway team in Central Park, N. Y., the haying scene, the boxers, the colored mother washing her child, the kissing match, the flying New York express train, the bathers at long beach, the great falls, the fishing boat and the ocean waves and many others; you have formed a good idea of what photographed motion is. It is life. You see the changing expressions and almost hear the spoken word, O! yes it was great! It was wonderful.
A bran new phonograph furnished music and Mr. Kline gave the necessary explanations. This afternoon Mr. Kline has gone to Cincinnati for further supplies and will return loaded with such y views as our people never dreamed of.
THE CINEMOTOGRAPHE
will again be on exhibition at the Phillips tomorrow from 8 to 12 a. m., from 2 to 5 p.m., and from 7 until 11 or 12 at night. Mr. Kline will bring all the electric apparatus needed, as well as a wealth of new views and new phonographic music and the patrons will have a feast. Go and see it.
