Shooting the Chute

A stunning picture of this popular summer sport. Three boats are propelled from top of chutes to the end of the tank, inside of half a minute. A very exciting scene.

The biograph received a new boom the past week by the introduction of local pictures. The harbor scenes and shooting the chutes are particularly good. This week their will be several comedy pictures added, and a very fine photograph of the operations being carried on at the site of the new south station. If received in time, a turnout by the apparatus of the fire department stationed at Fort Hill sq. with Chief Webber in the lead, will also be added.
