M. Froissard, tourneur, propose des soirées avec le cinématographe Joly-Normandin, en juin 1897, à Pontarlier. Par la suite, il présente un American Vitograph (!902). Par la suite, c'est "Vitographe Froissard" qui s'impose. Parmi les collaborateurs, on peut citer Alexandre Stein.
"Froissard" figure dans l'annuaire Paris-Hachette des années 1911-1914, 3 rue Alphonse-Focillon (14e arrondissement) de Paris.
Figure parfois sous le nom "Froissart".
